I have never set up a document for a printer before. Where do I start?
I can scan my own photos and line art. Is there anything special I should do when I scan objects?
Scan and save ALL photos, color and grayscale at no less than 300 dpi. Scan and save ALL line art at no less than 600 dpi.
Fortunately, most older versions of software can be opened using newer versions with little or no changes to your document.
